Hello Again.....

Hey peeps...... been a long time again since I posted. Of course, no one is reading this, so it doesn't much matter. LOL

Am still crocheting and looming. Working on a baby blanket (crochet'd), and need to finish up some scarves and make some scrubbies to go with my dishcloths. Have been making some 'goodie', and sachet bags. Trying out different size crochet hooks.

Waiting for winter to come. These HOT California days are wearing on me. I can tolerate the cooler weather much better. And besides, I can't wait for the holidays again!!! Yipeeee!!

Dish Cloth Mania

Everyone seems to be making dish cloths now! They are fast and easy to make. There's a lot of patterns, and some that have been converted for the dish cloth rake. My problem is that I have trouble with the purl stitch. It would take me days to complete a 15 min project. It's real hard on my hands to do. So, I will stick with my good 'ole e-wrap method. :)

Dish cloths and wash cloths make great gifts. I make a 'scrubbie' also that matches the dishcloth. At the moment they are my favorite thing to make. I have been using Peaches and Cream cotton for them, but I think I will try cotton tots. I heard they make great baby washcloths.

Hot Days

Wow, sure are getting some warm days here in So. Cal. I am trying to put off turning on the A/C for as long as I can.

Did another dish cloth on my blue round KK, but for some reason this time it came out as big as a hot pad.. go figure!!

Added a bunch of blogs... mostly from my crochet/looming groups.

Loomin and Lurkin

Here I am again. LOL Have been busy making things with my Knifty Knitters. Also doing a little crocheting. I belong to several crochet and looming yahoo groups that takes up a little of my time too.

Tonight I added some blog links for some of the people in my groups. Will add more when I come across them.

Anyone do any round or board looming? Comments are welcome. :)

I'M BACK!!

I'm back!! I kinda missed it over here. :)

I have been busy getting back into crocheting after an absence of 25 years. Wow, that's hard, at least for this old peep. Have found a new passion. Loom knitting. I'm just getting started with it, and it sure is addictive. Bought the Knifty Knitters set, but have purchased some of the other boards also.
